• Our guided tours are small and personable.  With a maximum of 10 guests per tour (and, for most itineraries, even fewer), you'll never be asked to wear a name tag!
   
• We travel to unspoiled destinations off the beaten track.  While we do include some of the known standards such as Denali and Anchorage, the places that we really feature haven't been developed to handle thousands of visitors, and so the qualities that have always made them unique remain intact.
   
• Our guides are experienced, knowledgeable and mature.  All of our guides have over 6 years of experience leading tours in Alaska.  You can be sure that you won't be guided by a college student recruited from the lower-48.  
   
• All meals, accommodations and transportation are included.  You can even order off the menu at restaurants.  There are no hidden costs; optional activities at your cost are clearly marked in the itinerary and our itineraries include a FULL first and last day of activities.
   
• We don't charge a "forced" single supplement.  If traveling singly and willing to share, there's no extra charge, even if you end up with your own room.
   
• Our camping spots are ours!  Just about every place we camp in Alaska is on a unique and beautiful piece of property owned by Adventure Alaska.   We'll have the place all to ourselves.
   
• Tents, mattress pads and dry bags (for river trips) are provided for your use free-of-charge.  Sleeping bags are available for rent for a small fee.
   
• We use small, Alaskan-owned establishments for dining, lodging and transportation whenever possible.
   
• We strive to minimize the impact on our great state, both in terms of respect for the  environment and for the lifestyle choices of the people who make Alaska their home.
   
• We match your contribution to Dollars A Day for Conservation.
   
• Our itineraries feature a variety of transportation modes.  Though our modified 15-passenger vans are comfortable, you can also enjoy the scenery from the Alaska State Ferry, passenger yacht, canoe, small aircraft or on foot.
